But this year for me has another addition, a beautiful baby girl. So instead of just my husband and I getting dressed, we now have our little mini to add to the holiday fun.
How one earth did we do it?
Here’s how.
Now for my mom’s out there, especially the new ones like me, the style challenge for occasions like this is looking fashionable with a mixture of practical.
And the answer to this dilemma is a floral print romper!
It’s a chic 4th of July outfit option, AND its super comfy. Plus I have to add that it will make getting ready for any cookout an absolute breeze.
This year, I opted for a yellow romper from TJ Maxx with a red and blue floral print. Then I accessorized my look with white sandals, large gold hoop earrings, and my beloved Barbados bracelet.
Even though I am now a permanent resident of the United States, I still like to pay homage to my roots.
Next, we have the daddy look!
Whether your significant other has that coveted 6-pack of abs, or is rocking the dad bod, he can mix things up with a solid color short and a printed shirt like my husband below.
And last, but not least, we have the baby girl outfit.
My suggestion, take this moment to dress up your little angel. AKA no onesies allowed!!!
For our bundle of joy, we continued the print trend, pairing floral print leggings with a sleeveless top. There were no shoes involved, but adding that accessory is up to you!
Either way, you can show up to the festivities with your baby in a a cute and comfortable outfit.

We don’t currently have a baby boy. Maybe we’ll have on in the future? But anyway, I wanted to also share a July 4th outfit for a baby boy! Especially for my proud boy moms.
