Denim and Bralette Everything

As I awoke from my beauty sleep, my eyes scanned the room, furiously reviewing my closet and thinking ‘What am I going to wear today?

And then I decided, without even blinking, ‘I want to push the envelope today.

It was a Saturday and bae and I were about to sign the lease for our new home. I felt like I should dress like I was a responsible adult but my mood leaned more towards my inner Rihanna. I didn’t feel like being the role model. I wanted to be the bad girl.

And my wardrobe had just the thing!

In a recent shopping trip, I dared to purchase a bralette – something I’ve always wanted but felt too insecure to get. Like where I would I even wear it? Cuz I’m not the girl who likes the club like that. And, I’m not going to lie, I’ve gotten a  little thicker since my January engagement and I’m still learning how to adjust (just being real).

Anyway, today was the day! I just wanted to walk around like a badass boss babe, and so I did in bralette and denim everything. Then I paired it with lace-up ballet flats and my latest accessory purchase – a gold boho necklace that filled the empty space between my neck and the deep V in between my boobs. And I felt GREAT!

I felt as free as the Caribbean ocean that I miss so dearly!

Question: Would you dare to wear this outfit?
